<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent load concentration on a connection member, and to thereby solve the problem that the connection member is likely to be cut. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of chain unit members 1, 1a, ... arranged in series are connected by a bendable connection member 2. The chain unit members 1, 1a, ... include a pair of side plates 3, 3a and a lower surface plate 4 provided between the side plates 3, 3a. The side plates 3, 3a are integrally formed by partially overlapping an inner plate part 6 and an outer plate part 7. On the outer side of the inner plate part 6 of one of the adjacent chain unit members 1, 1a, ..., the outer plate part 7 of the other of the chain unit members 1, 1a, ... is overlaid to arrange the chain unit members 1, 1a, ... in series. A stopper 8 is integrally protruded at a distal end surface of the outer plate part 7 of the side plates 3, 3a. A notch part 9 opening at an outside level difference surface is formed at a base end side. The notch part 9 includes a circular arc wall part 11 and abutment wall parts 12, 13 which are provided at both end parts of the circular arc wall part 11 and against which the stopper 8 may abut during bending and stretching. A cable chain at the bending place can prevent load concentration on the connection member 2 since the bending angle between the adjacent chain unit members 1, 1a, ... is smaller than a set angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
