<p>Shot-resistant armor having a base consisting of packing of ceramic balls, in which remaining open pores are filled with metal carbide or synthetic resin, a cover plate for protecting impact side and back of packing, a plate positioned and attached with fabric support, a high-strength steel sheet and impact crater formed in a stiffening sheet, is manufactured. The packing has hexagonal closed arrangement and is fixed with polyvinyl chloride adhesive. 26 volume% of open pores are filled with ballistic active powder. 12 Volume% of open pores are filled with synthetic resin.
