PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating radioactive waste is provided to safely treat paraffin without a solidification process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for treating radioactive waste is put into an input part(100). A support housing(330) is accommodated in a first container(410) through the input part. A compression cylinder part(310) compresses a radioactive waste(10) by the upper side of the first container. A pressurizing cylinder part(340) is located in one side of the support housing. A side of a first container is pressurized to generate plastic deformation. A compression part(300) comprises an opening door(350) which is installed in the lower part of the support housing(330). A second container(420) accommodates the first container when the opening door is opened. A lid closes the upper side of the firs container. The pressurizing cylinder part pressurizes the sides of the first container.
