THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION WITH REDUCED COLD STRESS WHITENING AND METHOD FOR REDUCIING COLD STRESS WHITENING IN RESIN COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition is provided to have sufficient tensile strength, flexural strength, flexural modulus, and impact strength, thereby reducing whitening phenomena while maintaining excellent flexability. CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition comprises 100.0 parts by weight of a resin component; and 0.5-3.5 parts by weight of polyalkylacrylate as an additive for whitening phenomena. The resin component includes 10-50 wt% of a rubber-modified vinyl-based graft copolymer and 50-90 wt% of a vinyl copolymer, based on 100 wt% of the resin. A method for reducing a low temperature stress whitening phenomena in a resin composition or a molded product thereof includes a step of adding the polyalkylacryalte as an additive for whitening phenomena, into a thermoplastic resin composition including a vinyl copolymer and rubber-modified vinyl-based graft copolymer.
