<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that enables more rapid scanning of a Vth correction and a drive method therefor, and an electronic device with the display device. <P>SOLUTION: A display device is provided with: a display unit that has a light-emitting element and a pixel circuit for each pixel; and a drive unit that drives the pixel circuits on the basis of a video signal. Each pixel circuit has: a drive transistor that drives the light-emitting element; and a write transistor that controls the application, to the gate of that drive transistor, of a signal voltage corresponding to the video signal. The drive unit applies a Vth correction to each pixel row that brings the gate-source voltage of each drive transistor closer to a threshold voltage for the drive transistor and then writes signal voltages, corresponding to the video signal, to the gates of the drive transistors in each pixel row. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
