<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide 53 kDa of human-derived polypeptides, that are muscle-specific TRIM family proteins. <P>SOLUTION: There are disclosed antigenic polypeptides recognized by mAb5259 with a molecular size of 53 kDa specific to striated muscle tissues, nucleic acid sequences encoding the polypeptides, and antibodies, which immunospecifically-bind to the polypeptide, as well as derivatives, variants, mutants, or fragments of the polypeptide, polynucleotide, or antibody.
