<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut capable of certainly exerting loosening prevention action and capable of smoothly and reliably exerting locking claw action for loosening prevention, and to provide a fastening structure for bolt and nut using the nut. <P>SOLUTION: A locking member 31 on a nut body 21 is provided with a locking claw 34. The locking claw 34 includes a rising part 35 extending from a fixing part 32 in an axial direction and an extension 36 extending from the rising part 35 in a circumferential direction. When a nut is screwed with a bolt, it is engaged with a male thread of the bolt in an elastic deformation state of the extension 36. When the screw is rotated in a loosening direction, the extension 36 is moved in the axial direction so as to return to the state before the elastic deformation while the extension 36 is positioned in an engagement recess of the bolt, and the extension 36 is locked by an engagement surface of the engagement recess of the bolt.
