<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispose a display to the position that is easy for a user to operate in a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When rotating the direction of the display 1 to a direction nearly orthogonal, an onboard device 3 makes the upper sides of the display nearly match before and after the rotation. Thereby, the line of sight movement of the user is reduced, and the display can be disposed to the position easy to refer to the user. The display 1 has a proximity sensor in the vicinity of the screen outer frame. When the hand is brought close, the display 1 rotates.
