<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching-element driving circuit capable of detecting an overcurrent without increasing the withstand voltage of a circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A switching-element driving circuit includes: a gate driving circuit 12 outputting a control voltage Vout to a gate electrode of a switching element 14; an operational amplifier 22 monitoring a voltage difference ΔV between the control voltage Vout and a gate voltage Vg by a gate resistor 21; a comparator 23 outputting a signal according to a change in the voltage difference ΔV after the control voltage Vout starts being outputted; and a determination circuit 25 determining the occurrence of an overcurrent in the switching element 14 on the basis of an output signal of the comparator 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
