<p>[Problem] To enable a coexistent holding of measurement data needed for event analysis, while performing a disk capacity reduction generated by the holding of the measurement data. [Solution] A monitoring computer: stores in a storage device, measurement data of a computer for monitoring, said measurement data being for multiple points in time; on the basis of the measurement data, identifies an event generated by the computer for monitoring and identifies an event generation time; and on the basis of the storage device capacity or a preset measurement data storage period, and on the basis of a deletion exclusion period determined from the event generation time, selects as data to be deleted, some of the measurement data for the multiple points in time, while taking account of measurement data that should not be deleted.</p> |
