<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The system (1) has a device e.g. sensor and switch, for acquisition of a charging socket cover (6), and an actuator (7) to introduce a pin-shaped positioning element (8) to an aperture (9) of a charging socket (5). The charging socket cover is formed such that the charging socket cover latches the charging socket by insertion of the positioning element into a retainer of the charging socket cover. The aperture of the socket and the retainer of the cover are congruent with each other during arrangement of the cover in an end position of the socket. #CMT# : #/CMT# The retainer of the cover is formed in a form of an aperture or a recess in the cover. An independent claim is also included for a method for locking a charging socket of a motor car. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# System for locking a charging socket of a motor car e.g. hybrid car and electric car, for disconnection of an electrical interconnection between a battery and an onboard high-voltage system of the motor car during maintenance/service procedure of the motor car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The aperture of the socket and the retainer of the socket cover are congruent during arrangement of the cover in an end position of the socket, so that reliable locking of the socket is achieved without removing the cover from the socket.
