<p>A throwing-type fire-extinguishing tool (10) for petroleum fires which comprises a hollow ball-shaped container (12) and, filled thereinto, a fire-extinguishing agent for petroleum fires which contains at least an aqueous-film-forming foam fire-extinguishing chemical, wherein the surface of the hollow ball-shaped container (12) is equipped with a protrudent part (14) for seizing with fingers and a plug part (16) for sealing, the protrudent part (14) being configured of four protrudent semicircular arcs (14A to 14D) disposed in an endless continuous arrangement akin to the contour of a dumbbell, the height of the protrudent part (14) from the general parts (18) being about 0.3 mm.</p> |
