PURPOSE: A proximity sensor is provided to prevent lights irradiated in a light emitting unit inside a case from being directly transmitted to a light receiving unit, thereby preventing the malfunction of the proximity sensor. CONSTITUTION: A proximity sensor comprises a PCB(Printed Circuit Board)(110), a light emitting unit(120), a light emitting lens unit(130), a light receiving unit(140), a light receiving lens unit(150), an illumination detecting unit(160), and a case(200). The light emitting unit is installed on the PCB. The light emitting lens unit is formed on the light emitting unit so that lights irradiated by the light emitting unit are transmitted through the light emitting lens unit. The light receiving unit is mounted on the PCB to be spaced from the light emitting unit. The light emitting lens unit is formed on the light receiving unit so that the lights irradiated by the light emitting unit are incident after being reflected. The illumination detecting unit is installed on the PCB to be spaced from the light emitting unit and the light receiving unit. The case covers one surface of the PCB so that the light emitting lens unit, the light receiving unit, and the illumination detecting unit are respectively exposed. |
