<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece in which current consumption of a motor can be fine-tuned by using a simple circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The number of motor rotations determined to be successful by a rotation detecting circuit 8 is counted with a counter circuit 9, and when the number of motor rotations determined to be successful reaches a prescribed number, a duty rank of a normal driving pulse SP is changed. When a specific value detecting circuit 12 determines that the duty rank after the change is a prescribed rank, a corrective driving pulse FP is outputted in the next step, irrespective of rotation/non-rotation of the normal driving pulse SP, to raise the rank to a duty rank of one-level greater driving force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
