<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate a place to which a geometrical tolerance is applied. <P>SOLUTION: A design assisting apparatus 1 includes: a storage unit 1b for storing the number of restrictions that restrict degrees of freedom in a translational direction TX, TY, TZ and a rotational direction RX, RY, RZ of each of three dimensional directions at each assembled place 2a1 to 2a3, 2b1 to 2b3 in an assembled state of each component 2a, 2b that is part of a product to be designed; and a determination unit 1e for determining, by using the number of the restrictions that restrict the degrees of freedom in the translational direction and the rotational direction and are stored in the storage unit 1b, whether to apply a geometrical tolerance to each dimension A, B, C at the assembled place of the component 2b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
