Disclosed are a method and device for session handling. The method comprises: during a process that a UE is accessing an EPC via a trusted non-3GPP access, a non-3GPP access network functional entity sensing a UE successful authentication or detachment or PDN disconnection; and the non-3GPP access network functional entity notifying a trusted network access gateway to transmit to a PDNGW an establish or delete session request message. The present invention remedies the shortcoming in the related art, when core network charging is uniformly applied, with respect to a UE-initiated detach procedure, because a stop charging message is not received by a AAA proxy of a WLAN side, that the trusted network access gateway cannot be triggered to transmit to the PDNGW the delete session procedure. |
