AUTOMATIC DETECTION METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR NETWORKING PHYSICAL CONNECTION STATUS

Disclosed are an automatic detection method and system for a networking physical connection status. The method includes: a master base band unit (BBU) sending a master BBU check identifier to a slave BBU through each level of remote radio unit (RRU); the slave BBU sending a slave BBU check identifier to the master BBU through each level of RRU; the slave and master BBUs comparing the received BBU identifiers with the fixed identifiers stored thereby respectively, and when the received BBU check identifiers and the stored fixed identifiers do not match, then sending an alert message to a base station. By way of comparing the check identifiers of the master BBU and the slave BBU with the stored fixed identifiers to judge whether there is a connection error, the present invention realizes automatic detection of connection status by a base station in various networking forms.
