<p>This cover glass is provided with a molded glass member (10G) on which compressive stress layers (17, 19) are formed on a front surface (11) side and a back surface (12) side, respectively. The molded glass member (10G) includes a center side region (13) and a curved region (14) provided so as to be connected on the outside edge of the center side region (13). The surface stress value of the compressive stress layer (19) in a region in which the approximation R of a convex side region (RR) positioned on the inside of the curve of the curved region (14) is the smallest is higher than the surface stress value for the compressive stress layer formed on the center side region (13), and that surface stress layer is formed to a depth that forms an approximate peak in the surface stress value thereof.</p> |
