PURPOSE: A heating control device for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to reduce a warming-up time needed for heating by using an electric heating device due to a heater core. CONSTITUTION: A heating control device for a vehicle comprises a sensing unit(11), a heater core(12), a power supply unit(13), and a control unit(14). The sensing unit measures temperature of a radiator of the vehicle. The heater core operates according to operation of the radiator. The power supply unit supplies power to the heater core. The control unit operates or stops the heater core based on the temperature of the radiator when a heating starting command is inputted.
