<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition lead for coupling an exciter to an igniter. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition lead conducts a large current, high voltage ignition pulse from the exciter to the igniter. The igniter may transform the pulse received from the ignition lead into an electrical spark, which ignites a fuel and air mixture in a combustor of the engine.
