<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device and an electromagnetic shielding system. <P>SOLUTION: Circuit boards (80, 100, 120, 142) in a mobile electronic device (10) comprise microphones (96, 110, 126) and a related amplifier and signal adjusting circuit mounted on the circuit boards. Radio frequency (RF) shields (94, 108, 122) surround the microphone and isolate the microphone from electromagnetic interference (EMI). The RF shield together with the circuit board forms acoustic chambers (81, 101) surrounding the microphone.
