INTERSECTING RING PROCESSING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MULTI-PROTOCOL LABEL SWITCHING

Disclosed are an intersecting ring processing method and device for multi-protocol label switching, relating to the technical field of communications and invented for reducing the overhead of network resources and improving the intersecting ring processing efficiency of inter-ring services. The method includes: dividing services to be processed into single-ring services for an original ring and inter-ring services for an intersecting ring corresponding to the original ring, and determining information about virtual points corresponding to the intersecting ring, and thus creating a virtual channel for the original ring according to the information about the virtual points; and using the virtual channel to forward the inter-ring service to the intersecting ring and processing a single-ring service according to a pre-created actual channel of the original ring. The embodiments of the present invention are mainly used in intersecting ring systems.
