The controller (40) has a measurement unit (13) that is provided for determining the rotation speed (nGEN) of generator by evaluating the phase signal. The compensation device (12) is provided for performing disturbance variable compensation with respect to rotation speed of generator such that exciting current is kept constant with respect to alteration of generator rotation speed caused by the non-uniform rotation of combustion engine. An independent claim is included for method for performing disturbance variable compensation in control circuit.
