PURPOSE: An application recommendation system, a method thereof, and a recording medium thereof are provided to confirm a user having similar preference corresponding to a statistical result by making statistics for frequency of an application used in a terminal of each user, thereby recommending an application which is frequently used by a user. CONSTITUTION: An application recommendation device receives use information of users through a use information collection unit(S110). A user type determination unit groups users for each type corresponding to the use information of the users(S120). A recommendation application extraction unit extracts ranking of applications corresponding to a use number(S130). The recommendation application extraction unit generates application recommendation information by adding statistics information of a user group to an application list(S140).
