<p>The present invention provides: a display panel with a front plate, which has improved display quality by suppressing air bubbles or unevenness around a display region, and which is sufficiently suppressed in separation of the front panel; and a display device. A display panel with a front plate of the present invention is a display panel (80) with a front plate, wherein a front panel (28) is disposed on a display panel (50) with an adhesive layer (24) interposed therebetween. A pattern layer (26) is additionally provided between the front plate and the display panel, and a part of the adhesive layer overlaps the pattern layer when a main surface of the display panel with a front plate viewed in plan. The thickness of a region (R(I)) of the adhesive layer, where the adhesive layer overlaps the pattern layer, is smaller than the thickness of a region (R(II)) of the adhesive layer, where the adhesive layer does not overlap the pattern layer. The elastic modulus of the region of the adhesive layer, where the adhesive layer overlaps the pattern layer, is lower than the elastic modulus of the region of the adhesive layer, where the adhesive layer does not overlap the pattern layer. The pattern layer is provided with a light-shielding layer.</p> |
