PURPOSE: Aramid tire cord and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer good tire moldability, fatigue resistance, and durability, and to offer good expansion property on a tire. CONSTITUTION: Aramid tire cord includes aramid multifilament. The deep strength of the tire cord is 10~23g/d. The elongation at break of the tire cord is 7~12%. The middle elongation measured under the load of 6.75kg is 0.8~1.5%. The aramid multifilament is poly(para- phenyleneterephtalamide). The total fineness of the aramid tire cord is 800~10,000 denier. The strength of the aramid multifilament is 18~25g/d. |
