<p>The present invention relates generally to a method of regenerating the hippocampus in a mammal and agents for use therein. More particularly, the present invention provides a method of regenerating the hippocampus in a mammal by administering a sub-population of neural crest stem cells. The method of the present invention is useful in the treatment of conditions characterised by a defective hippocampus, such as neuropsychiatric disorders.</p> |
