The dual clutch transmission (10) has partial gear boxes (12,14) having load clutches (K1,K2) provided with transmission input shafts (11,13). Several fixed gear (21-26) are arranged on input shafts and engaged with idle gears of counter shafts (15,16) to form gear stages (1-8) for forming forward gears. An idle gear (20) is located with switching element (S9) on intermediate shaft (18) for realization of reverse gears. The fixed gear of input shafts is operatively connected with fixed gear (33) of driven shaft (17) by closing switching element.
