The vehicle has an airbag (1) for covering a lower area of a windscreen and comprising upper and lower sides that are connected with one another. The lower side is turned towards the windscreen in a released condition, and the upper side is turned towards pedestrian or cyclist. A lateral area (2) of the airbag is separated from a middle area (3) of the airbag by a seam (5). The seam connects the lower side with the upper side, and dimensioned such that the seam tears by defined traction force during releasing of the airbag, where the seam is glued with adhesive.
