FIELD: packaging industry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a protective cover for paper cups, which has enhanced barrier properties. The protective cover with barrier properties comprises a polymeric layer which is the outermost inner layer and comprises the sealing layer of polyethylene and a layer of metal foil attached to the outer side of the outermost inner layer with a bonding layer. In the outermost inner layer there is a plurality of weakened areas extending radially from the center.EFFECT: invention has good sealing capacity as well as ease of opening, due to the fact that the weakened areas facilitate tearing the outermost inner layer and a layer of metal foil.14 cl, 10 dwg |
