FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to pharmaceutical compositions for treating or preventing C. difficile infection in an individual. The composition is presented in the form of a solid dosage form and contains a therapeutically effective amount in tiacumicine, a stabilising amount of one or more antioxidants, such as butylated hydroxytoluene, and optionally one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
