The method involves preparing a model liquid (12) for simulation of living beings body fluid, and encapsulating the model liquid in hollow bodies (14). The model liquid comprises bovine serum albumin (36) or a mixture of protein, egg yolk and vegetable oil, particularly olive oil, or insect body fluid or crushed insect body material. The model liquid is encapsulated by interfacial polymerization (16), coacervation or in position in micro hollow bodies (33). Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a living beings simulation model provided with hollow body made of polyester, polyurea or polyurethane; (2) a method for the formation of surface contaminants on a surface; and (3) a method for examining self-cleaning properties of a soiled surface.
