<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device which can precisely analyze a face of a driver even if luminance unevenness occurs since a part of the face of the driver is deviated from an irradiation range of a near infrared ray radiated from IR-LED. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device analyzes an image obtained by shining a near infrared ray on the face of a driver and monitors the face of the driver. In the device, luminance unevenness (a dark part on which the near infrared ray of luminance required for recognizing the face of the driver is not shone) may occur. Since an image processing for making a range where the face of the driver is imaged to be constant luminance is performed even if the luminance unevenness occurs in the monitoring device, the face of the driver is precisely analyzed even if the luminance unevenness occurs, and the driver is monitored so that he or she performs inattentive driving and the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
