The device (1) has a closing body (5) movable relative to a base body (4), and a position element (6) working between the base- and closing bodies for placing the closing body relative to the base body. The base body is formed as a cuboid hollow body with partially-open side walls. The closing body is formed as a latch rotatably arranged around an axle in the base body. Opening front portions (7) of the closing body are protrusively arranged through the open side walls of the base body in a locked condition of the device. A protecting housing accommodates residual components of the device.
