The connector (100) has contact pins (110a, 110b) held in a contact connector body (130) and including a buckle (120) for dividing the contact pins into a long partial section (127) and a short partial section (125). An end (135) of the long and short partial sections of the contact pins is exposed as a plug contact at contact sections (140, 150) of the connector. The long partial section of the contact pins includes a contact pin widening part (170) that is embedded in the contact connector body. The long partial section is partially embedded in the contact connector body. The contact connector body comprises a dome (180) or pin, which consists of plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a contact connector.
