<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear actuator capable of reducing the size while maintaining a highly reliable reciprocate-driving of a movable element and a mouth sanitary apparatus including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The linear actuator includes: a second output shaft 13 that reciprocate-drives a movable element 21 in an axis direction; and a coupling member 11 that couples and reciprocate-drives the second output shaft 13 and the movable element 21 being interposed between the second output shaft 13 and the movable element 21. The movable element 21 is elastically held by holding members 12a and 12b made of a blade spring being interposed by a gap between the inner periphery of a chassis 10 and the movable element 21.
