PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem associated with a particle containing iron oxide, in which, since its particle size increases over time when added to a phosphate buffered saline (hereinafter referred to as PBS) and since PBS contains the same components as blood in a living body, a similar increase in its particle size may occur in the blood of the living body when the particles are applied to a living body, which may induce blocking of blood vessels.
SOLUTION: In the particle containing iron oxide, albumin is non-covalently bonded to the surface of the particle.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
