<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the entry of a washing liquid from a gap between an elastic lid and a vent valve. <P>SOLUTION: A bearing device includes: an axle; an axle box mounted to an axial end of the axle; and the elastic lid 5 partitioning the inside and outside of the axle box. A through-hole 16 passing through the outside and inside is formed on a top of the elastic lid. The vent valve 17 for adjusting the pressure of the outside and inside is fitted to the through-hole. A head outer peripheral surface 19 of the vent valve is housed in an outer opening hole 37. Accordingly, even if the washing liquid is poured over the elastic lid to wash device, the washing liquid is directly poured over the elastic lid but not directly poured over the outer peripheral surface of the vent valve to prevent the outer peripheral surface of the vent valve from being partially turned up, and thereby preventing the entry of the washing liquid into the axle box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
