<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that has a narrower frame and that prevents a sealing member from entering a display region. <P>SOLUTION: The disclosed liquid crystal display device is provided with a first substrate and a second substrate arranged so as to face each another, a liquid crystal layer provided between the first and second substrates, and a sealing member that bonds together the first and second substrates and that seals the liquid crystal layer therebetween.
