<p>A treatment system (10) is provided with: a high-frequency power source (73) for outputting high-frequency power; a heat-generating power source (83) for outputting power for generating heat; a pair of jaws (36a, 36b) having a pair of conductors (52a, 52b) disposed on two holding surfaces, and a heater member (53) disposed on at least one holding surface; and a control unit (94) which repeats a first control mode for beginning to apply thermal energy after the application of high-frequency power energy is completed and for controlling the temperature of the heater member (53) to be at a first temperature, and a second mode for reducing the temperature of the heater member (53) to a temperature below the first temperature, and which controls the heat-generating power source (83) such that the application of thermal energy is completed in accordance with the temperature change parameters based on the temperature changes of the heater member (53).</p> |
