A toll booth cleaning and ventilation system and method. The toll booth cleaning and ventilation system specially comprises: a solar heating air duct system, a fresh air distribution system, a toll window air curtain protection system, and an air power system. To solve the problems of the serious environmental pollution in a toll booth and the great energy consumption of an air conditioner, the system and method implement toll booth cleaning and ventilation, fresh air heating, and vehicle exhaust collection at the lower part of a local area outside the booth by utilizing solar energy and air power generated by the running locomotive vehicles. The system and the method can be widely used for cleaning, ventilating, and heating attended and incompletely closed small buildings, such as a residential guardhouse, a parking lot toll booth and the like.
