<p>The carrier e.g. smart card (5,5') has main portion (10,10',10'') that is provided with strain gauge (20,20',20''). A predetermined support point (30,30',30'') is formed in spatial relation with respect to main portion. An input force is exerted on main portion. The strain gauge is provided to detect the exerted force. The main portion is provided with marker holder (80,81) which indicates the manner in which the input force is exerted. The marker holder is arranged such that data carrier is supported at predetermined support point during the indication operation. An independent claim is included for method for recognizing input force exerted to portable data carrier.</p> |
