Disclosed is a vacuum heat insulating material which contains a fiber produced by spinning a polymer resin having a bending elastic modulus of 3000 MPa or more as a fiber constituting a core material of the vacuum heat insulating material, wherein a polystyrene fiber makes up 80% or more of the fiber. The vacuum heat insulating material has improved recycling properties, can reduce environmental load, and is reduced in cost of materials. |
