Disclosed is a liquid hydrocarbon synthesis method which synthesizes liquid hydrocarbons from syngas by means of a Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, and which includes a first absorbing step in which carbon dioxide in a gaseous by-product generated by the aforementioned Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is absorbed by an absorption agent, and a second absorbing step in which carbon dioxide in the aforementioned syngas is absorbed by the aforementioned absorption agent after having performed the aforementioned first step.
