IMAGING SYSTEM USING LENS-INTEGRATED TYPE OPTICAL FIBER ARRAY PROBE

PURPOSE: An imaging system using a lens-integrated optical fiber pair probe is provided to obtain the high efficiency of optical coupling at a focal distance, thereby improving the efficiency of measuring signals. CONSTITUTION: An imaging system comprises a lens-integrated optical fiber pair probe(250) and a detection unit(210). The lens-integrated optical fiber pair probe irradiates lights emitted from a light source(200) to a sample, guides the lights generated by the sample, includes an optical fiber lens, and enables to scan at least in one direction. The optical fiber lens heats a predetermined region including each one end of two optical fibers by using a heating member so that the each one end of the optical fibers are connected to each other and has a lens surface of predetermined radius curvature simultaneously. The detection unit selectively detects signals of a predetermined region of the lights irradiated by the lens-integrated optical fiber pair probe.
