PURPOSE: An automatic brightness control method of a display module is provided to maintain the normal reference brightness of the display module until a backlight is replaced. CONSTITUTION: An internal brightness sensor detects the brightness of the inside of a display module between an LCD of the display module and a backlight unit(S110). A corresponding computer loads a signal measured by a brightness measuring unit(S120). A matching table writing unit receives analog data from the internal brightness sensor of the display module, converts the data into a digital signal, and writes a matching table based on a value converted into the digital signal and a value measured by the brightness measuring part(S130). A matching table storing unit records and stores the matching table written by the matching table writing unit(S140).
