The method involves recording a set of projection images during movement of an X-ray tube assembly (2) along a recording trajectory, and recording another different set of projection images at the beginning and/or at the end and/or during direction changing of the recording trajectory. A tomosynthesis-image data set is reconstructed based on the two sets of projection images. The reconstruction of the image data set is carried out based on algorithm of filtered rear projection, where non-linear combination of the projection images takes place during rear projection of the projection images. An independent claim is also included for a tomosynthesis-X-ray device.
