The steering system (1) has an electrical actuatable guidance locking actuator (15) that is connected between a lock position and an unlocking position. A component of the kinematic transmission chain is blocked between the steering wheel (2) and steerable wheel (6) by guidance locking actuator in the lock position. The guidance locking actuator is designed as an electrical linear motor. An electric servo motor (7) for generating a supporting servo torque, is connected to the linear motor through a motor shaft in the lock position.
