The system (1) has an electrical servomotor (7) for generating a supporting servo torque, and an electrically actuatable steering locking actuator (15) attached to the servomotor. The actuator is adjustable between a locking position and an unlocking position, where an engine shaft of the servomotor is blocked in the locking position. The servomotor and the actuator are accommodated in a common housing. The servomotor is controllable by a control device that communicates with the actuator and/or an electronic unit of the actuator. The actuator is designed as an electromotor or an electromagnetic actuator.
