FIELD: information technology.SUBSTANCE: method of making box structures of an irregular shape, involving connecting a shaped plate with a side strip; a cut whose width is equal to the thickness of the side strip is made on the edge of the inner surface of the shaped plate on the entire perimetre. The side strip is adjoined to the cut in the shaped plate, aligning the point of at which their connection begins. A mark is made on the surface of the side strip at the point of its subsequent fold, which corresponds to the first corner of the shaped plate from the beginning of the connection. The side strip is heated in the region of the mark and then folded at the point where the mark is located by an angle which corresponds to the given corner of the outline of the shaped plate. Subsequent corners of the side strip are marked and folded and the side strip is glued to the inner surface of the shaped plate while matching their outlines. To form the outside corner of the side strip, the mark on its surface is made opposite the point lying at half the width of the cut in the shaped plate. To form the inside corner of the side strip, the mark on its surface is made opposite the point lying at the vertex of the corner on the outer boundary of the cut in the shaped plate.EFFECT: invention provides accuracy of connection on the outline of outline of a side strip with the front shaped part of a box structure, avoiding protrusions and step structures on the surface of the finished product.3 dwg |
